Compared with other general-purpose plastics, non-plasticized PVC plastic melting temperature is high, need to be plasticized at high temperatures and get its products, but high-temperature PVC is easy to decompose, in order to ensure the quality of PVC hard products should be processed and molded at the lowest possible temperature, PVC processing aids is to increase the current and torque of the extruder to ensure that PVC is plasticized at a lower temperature under the processing of the molding process. To this end, PVC processing aids should have the following properties and functions:
1, the melting temperature should be lower than PVC, in the process to be first in PVC plasticization and then drive the melting of PVC, to promote the purpose of PVC plasticization.
2、It has good compatibility with PVC, during processing, it adheres to PVC particles, increases internal friction, improves current and torque, and ensures low-temperature plasticization.
3, the molecular weight is large enough to increase the melt viscosity (or strength) during processing, thus ensuring that the plasticization of PVC is carried out under sufficiently high current, torque or pressure.

These products are white fine particles, insoluble in water, ethanol, soluble in trichloromethane.
